This is the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE. Supercar powered by F1 cars The project to create an F1 car that will be approved for road traffic has been underway for several years. Now we can finally see how this machine will perform on the road.

Unfortunately, for the time being, the vehicle cannot be driven on public roads because it has not received the relevant EU certificates. Mercedes engineers are still struggling to ensure that its hybrid drive meets the relevant regulations. We are talking here about an extraordinary machine that has not been seen so far. After all, it's supposed to be the road version of an F1 car.

It will not be an easy task, because we are dealing here with a hybrid unit, namely a 1.6-liter V6 turbocharged engine from the W06 car, which is supposed to spin up to 11,000 revolutions.

In addition to the standard combustion engine, Mercedes-AMG Project ONE will have as many as 4 electric motors, to which energy will flow from a lithium-ion battery with a voltage of 800 V. Mercedes boasts that ARTS AND CINEMA entire hybrid system generates up to 1000 HP. The sprint to 200 km / h is expected to take just 6 seconds. The road car is to accelerate to 350 km / h.

A trailer for the new team monster has just appeared on the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team channel. Mercedes-AMG Project ONE was there with Lewis Hamilton, who won the F1 driver's title for the seventh time this year. Interestingly, it was not there by accident. Hamilton is working intensively with AMG on this historic project.
